About Big Idea Kids
What is Big Idea Kids?
Big Idea Kids is a weekly club for 4-year-olds through 6th-graders. Each week Big Idea Kids learn big ideas about God, the Bible, and about God's amazing plan to rescue people. Big Idea Kids sing, memorize scripture, learn theology, eat snacks, and play games.
When and Where does Big Idea Kids Meet?
Big Idea Kids is on summer break and will resume September 8, 2010. Big Idea Kids meet at Northbrook Baptist Church from 6:45-8:00pm each Wednesday night during the school year (if the weather is bad, please check the main page for cancellations).
What curriculum does Big Idea Kids use?
We use the Praise Factory Curriculum from Capitol Hill Baptist Church. The Praise Factory is a six year, multi-age children's systematic theology curriculum for elementary school children. It is comprised of 104 key biblical truths -- called "Big Ideas"-- divided into 16 units, common to a systematic theology.
